2015

So, another year is almost over so I thought I’d take this chance to reflect on some of my best moments of the year! Here we go!

 1. Meeting the best friends anyone could ask for- all thanks to The Vamps. Newcastle Richard Squad are so kind, special and all round amazing in every way and I’m so grateful that we’re all so close.

2. Meeting The Vamps. I’ve already mentioned this incredible experience on an earlier post but it definitely makes it to a 2015 highlight! Finally getting to meet 4 people who’ve made such a positive impact on my life was amazing.

 3. Going to Disneyland Paris. Disney is one of my favourite things ever- from books to films, teddies to mugs- all things Disney are just supercalifragilisticexpialidocious so you can imagine how happy I was to be walking through the park.

 4. Results Day. Ok, so it’s not quite as exciting as my other highlights but 4:30am on Tuesday 4th August was when MONTHS of stress FINALLY came to an end- when my email from the SQA came through staying my results. I was beyond happy with my results – 3 Cs, 2 Bs and an A!

 5. Climbing over the roof of the O2. 52 metres high and ascents and descents of up to 30 degrees- it’s safe to say I was terrified! Nevertheless, I faced my fears and made it to the end!

6. One Directions On the Road Again Tour. I’ve always been a massive fan of the band- and my 3 experiences seeing them this year have all been amazing. The 16 hour round trip bus journey to Cardiff, catching up with some of Newcastle Richard Squad and experiencing the show so close up- I’m beyond lucky to have had such a good year!

  7. Prom/After party. After months of ‘dress stress’ and the struggle of booking good appointments for hair, tan and nails, the night of prom was amazing! I felt genuinely confident in myself which made a change. Despite being in a muddy field in the middle of nowhere, the afterparty was also a great atmosphere and I would like to thank all of my school friends for making it such a great night.

This or That Tag- Festive Edition

So, having looked through some fellow bloggers pages for inspiration, I’ve decided to take part in the Festive Edition of the ‘This or That?’ tag!

Here it goes!

Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
I’m going to have to go with Christmas Day- all the treats and getting to see everyone so happy just makes the day so magical!

Real Tree or Artificial Tree?
This one is a bit of a cheat as I actually have both this year! We’ve always had an artificial one in our living room and last year we started a new family tradition of buying a real one for the hallway too!

Tree Ornaments or Tree Lights?
As much as I love all types of tree decorations, the lights are definitely my favourite part as they lighten up the whole room, totally adding to the Christmas mood around you!

Christmas Carolling or Watching Christmas Movies?
I’ve only ever been Christmas carolling once- back when I was about 11 and went with my primary school to a home for the elderly. This did not end well at all as I fainted mid song- never ideal! However, I’ve never had this issue with watching Christmas films so for that reason its going to have to be Christmas movies!

Eating the Christmas Cookies or Leaving Them Out for Santa?
Homemade cookies are just too good to share- sorry Santa but I’ll be eating them myself again this year!

Putting the Presents out Early or Leaving it Until Late Christmas Eve?
I love how festive it looks when all the presents are under the tree! It’s another ‘family tradition’ of mine to put presents under the tree as soon as we are given them!

Spending Christmas with Immediate Family or Extended Family?
I actually celebrate Christmas more than once. On Christmas Day it’s me, my Mum and my Granny and then in early January we have a chaotic day celebrating Christmas with my family from Newcastle.

Eggnog or Hot Chocolate?
110% hot chocolate(even though I’ve never tried eggnog).
